Dr. Alan Bagden is an experienced orthodontist in Springfield, Va., And is a frequent speaker at seminars around the world, having delivered presentations on all continents of the world except Antarctica. Dr. Bagden graduated from Lafayette College, after which he attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, obtaining his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). After completing his mandatory service as a dentist for the United States Public Health Service, he was proposed and admitted to the orthodontic residence of the University of Maryland. In 2001, he collaborated with Dr. Dwight Damon on the development and training of the Damon Self-Liabilities system. Together they wrote the definitive passive ligature guide, The Damon Workbook, in 2003. Dr. Bagden is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He has served as president of the Virginia Association of Orthodontists and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Honorary Dental Society and the American College of Dentists in recognition of his contribution to the orthodontic profession. An avid runner, he qualified and competed in the Boston Marathon as well as in multiple and demanding long distance runs. He, along with his wife, Kathy, are the proud parents of five children and grandparents of three granddaughters.
Dr. Dwight Damon is an industry-leading orthodontist widely known for his development of the Damon System. Dr. Damon is a pioneer in the field, lecturing worldwide to both doctors and staff on the most advanced orthodontic treatment philosophies. Holding a practice for more than 40 years, Dr. Damon has written several professional articles and his work has been featured in leading trade journals, including the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is a member of leading industry associations, including: the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association.

Dr. Frost received his dental degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry for 5 years – two with his father and three in his own office. Dr. Gualtiero Mandelli graduated in Medicine and Surgery from University of Study of Milan in 1985. After the graduation, he achieved three post-graduate specializations in: Orthodontics, Stomatology and Pediatrics in the same University. He was Visiting Professor in Orthodontics at University of Parma from 2003 to 2010 and from 2011 he is Visiting Professor at Specialization School in Orthodontics at University of Brescia. Dr. Palleck is a two-time graduate of the University of Western Ontario (UWO), having completed her dental program in 1993 and her masters in orthodontics in 1999. Dr Philippe Van Steenberghe is a native of the French-speaking part of Belgium. He earned his DDS degree and specialized in orthodontics at ULB (Free university of Brussels). Dr Philippe Van Steenberghe has developed a private practice in Lessines, Belgium, called Ortho Team, in which he works with four other orthodontists.
